Vibes are lowkey. Good place to work. Not exactly cozy but a good amount of seating. But the pastries and coffee are sensational!

Vintage unique cafe I had a matcha latte with almond milk. It was good :) Not sweet, not bitter either. The vibe is casual. I think it is a bit too dark to read books or work on something. This is more for hang out. They had a sofa to sit as well, which seems comfy. Their prices are around average. Unfortunately, they did not have the matcha bun when I went. Idk if they discontinued it or they sold all of it that day.

The first thing that might attract you to this shop is the fancy gold leaf window sign. Once you open the door, what will keep you there are the amazing smells and the chill atmosphere. I had an iced vietnamese coffee, a rotiboy and a breakfast bun. My coffee was delicious and perfect for the warm weather. The rotiboy was soft and flaky and had a delicate sweetness to it that I really enjoyed paired with my coffee. The breakfast bun was delicious as well. First off everything smelled amazing! It was filled with eggs, a little bit of peppers and onions and steak. Service was great as well. It was my first time here and the fellow behind the counter gave me the bun suggestions. Will make it a point to visit here whenever I am in the area.

I love the bunshop... although they sometimes struggle to keep their best menu items in stock. You can do anything you want here. Write a book, play a board game, take on the world in comfort. The community is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Perhaps the seating could use an upgrade... but it's functional for what is needed Visit this place soon.

Amazing place, great service, relaxing atmosphere. The coffee was amazing and ready quick. I took a star off because the bathroom was not the best. Reminds me of a restroom at a dive bar.

Very comfortable local coffee ☕ and Tea shop close to midtown University of Maryland Midtown Medical Campus. The street is a business district street. 3 mins from John Hopkins Medical Campus. MICA is 2 minutes away. The location looks historical inside with an original glass case and some very old antique metal tables. Black colored walls and ceiling for a comfortable and dark mood, comfortable study location. It's not dirty. It's just antique and old for people that don't understand how glass gets after 50+ years. The hot chocolate 🍫 was tasty and did not have that syrup or powder flavor of Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. They offer different kinds of milk if that is your preference. Their music was tasteful and light jazz and not blasting. Conducive to good studying without blasting music like Starbucks which I hate. Minimal power. A few power banks strips all over the floor. Slight trip hazard so please be careful. Customers were a mix of students and older folks studying or just relaxing and reading. Mostly students studying quietly and not loud if they were in a group. Restrooms in the rear. Overall, a good place that is open late. I'm not sure what the sister was talking about racism below. I think it has more to do with your attitude and how you communicate here from my own experience. The gentleman with tattoos serving me greeted me and was professional. Who needs more than that? Hot cocoa was about $4.50 I believe. Not bad. Businesses don't run on air.
